Sony took over Minolta's camera division in 2006 and put the mirrorless full-frame camera on the map with the A7 in 2013. Since then the E mount has become the broadest system on the market: the A7 series as the all-rounder (A7 III, A7 IV), the A7R for high resolution (A7R IV, A7R V), the A7S and FX3 for low-light video, the A9 and A1 for sports and press, and the APS-C line with A6400, A6600 and A6700. The lenses run from the G Master primes and zooms (24-70mm f/2.8 GM II, 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II, 85mm f/1.4 GM) to affordable G and standard lenses, complemented by Sigma, Tamron and Samyang, who all build natively for E.
On used Sony cameras we read the shutter count, check the sensor for dust and spots (without a mirror, Sony sensors are extra exposed), test the stabilisation, every connector and the screen; on lenses the autofocus, OSS stabilisation, aperture and glass. Every item has photos and an honest condition description.
Choose your camera by what you shoot: A7 IV for almost everything, A7R V for landscape and studio, A7S III or FX3 for video, A6700 as the compact entry. Lenses are listed per mount in our range, and your current Sony kit can be traded in with us.
