How it works
From request to money in your account. Nothing is binding until you give the go-ahead yourself.
Request an offer
Tell us which gear you have and in what condition. Two minutes of work, also for several items at once. You hear from us within 2 to 3 working days.
Ship it for free
If you agree, we send you a shipping label. Shipping is free and the parcel is insured by us — anything lost on the way is our problem, not yours.
We check it
Our specialists inspect your gear: operation, glass, sensor, body and the shutter count. If it matches your description, we confirm the offer.
You get your money
Within 3 working days of approval the amount is in your account. Trading in? Then we settle it straight away with your purchase.
What is your camera worth?
That depends on three things: which model you have, what condition it is in and — for cameras — how many shots have been taken with it. We compare with what similar items really fetch right now, not with a list price from years ago. You get an offer from an expert, not a machine.
These are the brands we buy most often. Nikon, Canon and Sony together make up well over half, but Fujifilm and Leica come by a lot too — and medium format from Hasselblad, Phase One or Mamiya is welcome here as well. We also buy lenses on their own: almost half of what we buy is glass.
Which cameras and lenses do we buy?
These are the models offered to us most often. Yours not among them? That says nothing — we buy well over fifteen thousand products and assess anything we do not know by hand. Click a model to open its product page.

Why an offer is only final after inspection
Our first offer is based on what you tell us: the model and the condition. That is an estimate, not a verdict — we have not seen your gear yet.
Only once it is with us can we establish what it is really worth. If everything matches your description, we confirm the original offer. If it differs, you see an adjusted offer with the reason.
You are free to decline that adjusted offer. We then return your gear free of charge.

Is your gear not listed? Just ask — we look at it by hand and tell you honestly what we can do for it.
What we look at
Two things determine your offer: the condition of your gear and, for cameras, how much it has been used.
The condition
From “like new” to “heavily used”. It is about the looks; everything must work in every condition. In doubt between two conditions? Pick the lower one — on arrival we judge fairly and the offer goes up where it should.
What each condition means →The shutter count
The number of shots taken with a camera, comparable to a car's mileage. An entry-level model lasts 50,000 to 100,000 shots, a professional model 300,000 to 500,000.

Be honest about the condition
A realistic description earns more in the end than an optimistic one. Rate it too rosy and an adjusted offer follows, costing you time.
Include what belongs with it
The original box, charger, battery, caps and strap raise the value. Mention them in your request.
Clean it
Gear that looks cared for is rated better. That is no trick — it often says something about how it was treated.

Rather drop by?
You can, and it is the fastest way. Bring your gear to our showroom in Geldermalsen, we look at it on the spot and you get an offer straight away.
If you agree, we pay out immediately — at the counter, so the money is in your account before you leave. Cash is possible too, up to € 3,000.
Address and opening hours →Frequently asked questions
How do you arrive at an offer?
We look at the model, the condition and what the gear fetches on the market right now. Our first offer is an estimate based on your description; after inspection we confirm or adjust it. An offer is valid for 14 days.
What if your offer turns out lower after inspection?
Then you see that, with the reason. You may decline — we then return your gear free of charge. Nothing is binding until you give the go-ahead yourself.
How do I find my shutter count?
With most brands you read it from a photo taken with your camera. There is a helper in the request, and otherwise we fill it in ourselves on arrival. Not sure? Pick the lowest option.
More about shutter count →Which condition should I choose?
Choose the condition that describes your gear most honestly. In doubt between two? Take the lower one: on arrival we judge fairly and the offer goes up where it should.
What the conditions mean →What happens to my gear if I decline the offer?
We return it free of charge. One thing up front: to assess gear properly we sometimes remove stickers, protective film, filters or damaged batteries. If the sale does not go ahead, we do not reverse that.
I sell as a business, is that possible?
Yes. Choose Business in your details and enter your VAT number. Based in the EU outside the Netherlands? Then we apply the reverse charge; you receive an amount excluding VAT with that note on it. The quote shows how the amount is made up.
My model is not listed
Type the name and add it anyway — our experts then assess it by hand. Especially with older, rare or medium-format equipment that often works out well.
Question not answered? Call +31 85 301 8332 or email klantenservice@camera-tweedehands.nl. Unsure whether something is worth offering? Just ask — we tell you honestly if it earns little.
Curious what you will get?
Your request takes two minutes and commits you to nothing.
