Cambo WDS-630 Shiftable Focussing Hood + WDS-619 Ground Glass Frame

The Cambo WDS-630 Shiftable Focussing Hood paired with the WDS-619 Ground Glass Frame is a dedicated large format viewing system for the Cambo Wide DS series. The hood mounts directly onto the ground glass frame and can be removed in seconds for direct viewing — no tools needed.

What's in this set?

• WDS-630 Shiftable Focussing Hood — mounts onto the WDS-619 frame and shifts to follow the composition; removable for direct ground glass viewing
• 3x magnification loupe — built in Schneider Kreuznach optics with adjustable dioptre setting so you can dial it in to your eyesight
• WDS-619 Ground Glass Frame — the base that the hood clips onto; viewing area with the hood fitted is approximately 66 × 58 mm, expanding to 78 × 61 mm when you remove the hood and use a separate loupe

Who is this for?

If you shoot large format landscape or portrait work with a Cambo Wide DS or WRS body, precise focus confirmation on a dim ground glass is one of the biggest workflow headaches. This combo solves it cleanly. The Schneider Kreuznach loupe gives you a bright, sharp 3x view, and the shiftable design means you can check focus across the frame without repositioning your eye. It's a genuine field tool, not just a studio convenience.

Large format photographers who use wide technical lenses — Rodenstock HR-W primes or Schneider Digitar glass, for example — will particularly appreciate the adjustable dioptre, which keeps the view sharp regardless of your prescription.

This used set comes professionally inspected and carries a minimum 12 months warranty.
