Cambo WTSX-50 Wide-T/S 50mm HR Digaron-W Lens Panel
The Cambo WTSX-50 is a wide-angle tilt/swing lens panel featuring a Rodenstock 4.0/50 HR Digaron-W lens with Phase One X-Shutter, built for technical camera systems and dedicated to use with Phase One IQ4 Digital Backs. An integrated gear-driven tilt and swing mechanism allows up to 5 degrees of tilt up and down for precise perspective and focus-plane control.
What makes the WTSX-50 stand out?
The lens panel combines a high-resolution Rodenstock HR Digaron-W optic with a practical helical focus mount and a built-in tilt/swing unit — all in one rigid panel. The two gear-driven knobs give you repeatable, precise control over tilt and swing movements, which is a real advantage when you're shooting architecture, product, or controlled landscape work where keystoning and plane-of-focus matter.
High-quality coatings on the Rodenstock glass keep flare and chromatic aberration in check, delivering images with strong contrast and edge-to-edge clarity. The lens is slightly softer wide open at f/4, with sharpness improving notably at f/5.6 and reaching its peak around f/8.
Who is this for?
This panel is a specialist tool aimed at medium-format technical camera shooters — particularly those already working with a Cambo Wide system and a Phase One IQ4 digital back. If you shoot architecture, fine art, or high-end commercial work and need movements in a compact wide-angle package, this is a purpose-built solution. Buying it used makes the significant original investment considerably more accessible.
