Who is this lens for?

If you shoot with a mirrorless Leica TL or CL and want one lens that handles everything from wide landscapes to mild telephoto compression, this is the zoom to reach for. The approximately 27–85mm equivalent range covers street photography, travel snapshots, family moments, and architecture — all without swapping glass. It's particularly popular among hikers and travellers who appreciate keeping their kit light. Buying it used means you get genuine Leica optics — including four aspherical surfaces that keep images sharp to the edges — without paying new-box prices.
