Question 1

Which Sony NP-F batteries work with the Zitay ZC41800?

Accepted Answer

The Zitay ZC41800 is built for the Sony NP-F series. NP-F batteries are widely used with monitors, LED panel lights, and certain camera rigs, so if your existing battery stock follows the NP-F footprint and contact layout, this charger is designed to accommodate them.

Question 2

Does the Zitay ZC41800 charge all slots at the same time?

Accepted Answer

The ZC41800 is described as a multi-channel charger intended to charge multiple bays from one USB-C source. For confirmation that all bays charge fully in parallel rather than in rotation, check the product listing or the included documentation, as charging behaviour can vary by model and power source wattage.

Question 3

What USB-C power source do I need to run the Zitay ZC41800?

Accepted Answer

The charger uses a USB-C input, so it's compatible with USB-C wall adapters, power banks, and laptop chargers. Charging multiple batteries at once draws more power, so a higher-wattage USB-C adapter will generally give faster results than a low-output phone charger — check the product listing for any minimum wattage requirement.

Question 4

Is buying a used Zitay charging station worth it?

Accepted Answer

Chargers are among the safest used accessories to buy — they have no moving parts, no shutter count, and minimal wear even after heavy use. A pre-owned Zitay ZC41800 from Camera-tweedehands.nl is professionally inspected before listing and backed by a minimum 12 months warranty, so you're not taking a risk to save money.

Question 5

Can I use the Zitay ZC41800 to charge batteries while on location without a wall outlet?

Accepted Answer

Because the charger runs on USB-C, you can power it from a high-capacity USB-C power bank in the field — no wall socket needed. This is a big plus for outdoor video crews or documentary shooters who need to charge between locations.

Question 6

Is the Zitay ZC41800 compatible with third-party NP-F batteries?

Accepted Answer

The charger is designed for the standard Sony NP-F footprint and contact layout. Third-party batteries that physically match that form factor are generally intended to be compatible, but for certainty with a specific brand or model, it's worth checking the product listing or the Zitay documentation included in the box.
