For Canon LP-E6 batteries, you can check the remaining capacity via the camera menu (Battery info) or tools like Canon EOS Utility. Nikon EN-EL15 batteries can be read via Nikon Camera Control Pro or third-party software. Sony NP-FZ100 capacity can be seen in the camera menu. Profoto batteries show the charge level on the battery itself. Phase One batteries can be read via the digital back software.

A charger doesn't have wearing chemistry like a battery — the electronics last a very long time under normal use.
