Used filter accessories

Filter holders and adapter rings are an ideal used purchase. They are mechanical parts without fragile glass or electronics, so a used one often still works just as well as new. What matters most is that the system fits together: holders such as the LEE100 Filter Holder work with their own holder size, so check whether your filters match the holder you're buying in width (100mm, for example).

What should you look out for?

With a holder, look at the clamp springs or screws that keep the filters in place — they should work smoothly but firmly. With adapter rings, pay attention to the thread: it has to be clean and undamaged so the ring sits flat on your lens and doesn't cause a light leak or vignetting. For wide-angle lenses there is the LEE 77mm Wide Angle Adapter Ring, while the LEE 77mm Adapter Ring and LEE 67mm Adapter Ring are suitable for regular lens diameters; so always check that the ring matches both your lens diameter and your lens type. A good filter pouch is no unnecessary luxury either if you want to protect your gear on the go.

Who is this for?

Landscape and architecture photographers in particular get their gear here: they work with graduated ND and polarising filters that need to go in a holder. But even if you're just starting out with an entry-level system and want to expand later, you'll find separate adapter rings and upgrade kits here to make your existing set compatible. Everything is professionally inspected by us and comes with at least 12 months' warranty and a 14-day return period, so you can try out without worry whether the system suits you.
