Question 1

What is the Broncolor Pulso Flooter used for?

Accepted Answer

The Broncolor Pulso Flooter is a studio strobe designed for controlled lighting environments. It's typically used in portrait, product, and fashion photography where consistent, powerful light output is needed.

Question 2

What mount does the Broncolor Pulso Flooter use?

Accepted Answer

The Broncolor Pulso Flooter uses a Profoto mount, as documented in our inspection. This makes it compatible with Profoto light modifiers — a practical advantage if you already run Profoto accessories in your studio.

Question 3

What does a guide number of 58 mean in practice?

Accepted Answer

A guide number of 58 indicates a solid light output suitable for most studio work. In practical terms, it gives you enough power to use smaller apertures for greater depth of field or to push light through larger modifiers without losing too much exposure.

Question 4

Is the Broncolor Pulso Flooter compatible with other brands' modifiers?

Accepted Answer

The Pulso Flooter has a Profoto mount, so it works natively with Profoto modifiers. Third-party mount adapters can extend compatibility to other modifier systems — search for Profoto-to-Bowens or similar adapters depending on what you own. Native Profoto accessories will always give the most seamless fit.

Question 5

Is buying a used Broncolor Pulso Flooter worth it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Broncolor builds strobes to professional standards, so a well-maintained second-hand unit delivers the same reliable performance as a new one. Every used item on Camera-tweedehands.nl is professionally inspected and comes with a minimum 12 months warranty. The condition grade for this specific unit is listed on the variant page.

Question 6

How does the Broncolor Pulso Flooter compare to other Broncolor strobes?

Accepted Answer

The Pulso Flooter is part of Broncolor's Pulso line of studio strobes. If you need a broader look at what's available across the range, browsing the full Broncolor used selection is a good way to compare output levels and features across different models.
