Question 1

What cameras is the DJI RSC 2 compatible with?

Accepted Answer

The RSC 2 is built for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It supports a range of popular bodies from Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm — as long as the combined camera-and-lens weight stays within the gimbal's payload limit.

Question 2

What is the difference between the DJI RSC 2 and the DJI RS 2?

Accepted Answer

The RSC 2 is the more compact, foldable sibling designed for lighter setups, while the RS 2 is aimed at heavier professional rigs. If you're shooting with a mid-range mirrorless body and a standard prime or zoom, the RSC 2 is usually enough — and noticeably easier to carry.

Question 3

Is the DJI RSC 2 good for video beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the RSC 2 has a relatively straightforward balancing process and connects to the Ronin app for guided setup. Different stabilisation modes let you adjust how the gimbal responds without diving into manual settings. Beginners can get smooth results quickly, and there's room to grow into more advanced motion features over time.

Question 4

Is buying a used DJI RSC 2 worth it?

Accepted Answer

A pre-owned RSC 2 is a smart buy if you want capable gimbal stabilisation without paying new-unit prices. Gimbals are mostly electronic and mechanical — so a well-maintained unit performs identically to a new one. At Camera-tweedehands.nl, every used RSC 2 is professionally inspected and backed by a minimum 12 months warranty, which removes most of the risk of buying second-hand.

Question 5

How long does the DJI RSC 2 battery last?

Accepted Answer

Runtime varies depending on the weight of your rig and which stabilisation modes you're using. Heavier payloads and more active stabilisation modes will drain the battery faster than a light mirrorless setup in a gentler follow mode. We document battery condition in the inspection report for each unit.

Question 6

Can the DJI RSC 2 gimbal stabilizer be used one-handed?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the RSC 2's folding design and ergonomic grip are built for one-handed operation. For extended handheld shoots, pairing it with a dual-grip handle accessory reduces wrist fatigue significantly. The folding form factor also makes it easy to pack into a camera bag without a dedicated case.
