The Leica M-Adapter L (18771) lets you mount Leica M-mount lenses on any L-mount camera body, opening up a vast world of classic glass on modern digital sensors.
What it does
This adapter is made by Leica themselves, so the fit and build quality are exactly what you'd expect — solid metal construction, precise tolerances, and no play between lens and body. It bridges the M-mount flange distance to the L-mount standard, allowing full manual focus operation with your M-glass on L-mount bodies like the Leica SL2, SL2-S, or Panasonic S-series and Sigma fp cameras.
Who is it for?
If you already own Leica M lenses — whether vintage Summicrons, Elmarits, or Voigtländer M-mount glass — and want to use them on an L-mount system body, this is the clean, no-compromise way to do it. It's also a smart pick for photographers who are transitioning between systems and want to keep using their existing M-mount collection without selling anything.
Buying used
A used Leica M-Adapter L is a particularly sensible purchase since it has no electronic parts, no autofocus motor, and no moving elements beyond the mount interface itself — meaning there's very little that can go wrong over time. Every pre-owned adapter on Camera-tweedehands.nl is individually inspected and comes with a minimum 12 months warranty.
