Question 1

What kind of light is the Manfrotto ML840H?

Accepted Answer

The Manfrotto ML840H is a compact continuous LED panel light. Unlike strobes or flashes, it provides constant output, making it especially useful for video work or any situation where you need to see the lighting effect in real time before you shoot.

Question 2

Can I use the Manfrotto ML840H for video as well as photography?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Continuous LED lights like the ML840H are well suited for both photo and video. Because the light is always on, there's no sync timing to worry about — you get what you see, which makes it a practical choice for hybrid shooters doing both stills and footage on the same job.

Question 3

Is buying a used Manfrotto ML840H worth it?

Accepted Answer

For a straightforward LED panel like the ML840H, buying second-hand is a smart move. LED lights have no consumable bulbs and few moving parts, so a pre-owned unit in good condition can last just as long as a new one. Every used item on Camera-tweedehands.nl is individually inspected and comes with a minimum 12 months warranty.

Question 4

What power options does the Manfrotto ML840H support?

Accepted Answer

Power options for the ML840H are listed in the specification section of each individual variant listing. We document all power compatibility details so you know exactly what's included and supported.

Question 5

How does the ML840H fit into a compact lighting setup?

Accepted Answer

The ML840H sits in the compact, on-camera or near-camera LED category — ideal for run-and-gun shooting, fill light in tight spaces, or as a portable key light for solo creators. If you need broader coverage or more output, stepping up to a larger LED panel with barn doors or a fresnel-style head would be the natural next move, but for portability and simplicity the ML840H keeps your kit light.

Question 6

What warranty do I get when buying a used Manfrotto ML840H?

Accepted Answer

All used lighting gear sold through Camera-tweedehands.nl comes with a minimum 12 months warranty. The exact warranty period is shown on the individual variant listing.
