We test fixtures on every setting and connector, check tripods and rigging for locks and wear, and describe signs of use honestly — set equipment has lived and that is allowed to show, as long as it works perfectly. Buying used ARRI: from ALEXA to bridge plate

ARRI has existed since 1917 and builds, in Munich, the cameras and lighting tools that shoot the vast majority of cinema films and series. The ALEXA line is famous for its colour rendition and dynamic range, but just as important is the ecosystem around it: bridge plates, 15mm and 19mm rods, matte boxes and follow-focus systems all built to the same dimensions.

That ecosystem is exactly what makes used ARRI so attractive. A BPA bridge plate or a set of rods from ten years ago still fits the newest cameras and lasts for decades under normal use. On cameras we check the operating hours, the sensor, the fans and every connector; on accessories we look at threads, clamps and wear.
