Buying used Elinchrom: monolights, ELB and light shapers

Elinchrom has built studio flash since 1962 in Renens near Lausanne and became known for simplicity: one monolight, one light shaper, done. The D-Lite RX series is the affordable entry, the ELC Pro HD offers short flash durations and TTL control, and the ELB 400 and ELB 500 TTL are compact battery packs for wedding and fashion work on location. The Rotalux softboxes, Deep umbrellas and beauty dishes fit every head with the Elinchrom bayonet.

On used flashes we measure the output, check the flash tube and modelling lamp, form the capacitors and test the Skyport receiver. Batteries of ELB kits are graded separately, as they wear. Light shapers are checked for ribs, fabric and mount; a discoloured inner diffuser is noted.

Elinchrom light shapers are by far the cheapest used and are often the smartest starting point of a kit. Combine them with a monolight of your choice and a Skyport transmitter for your camera. Your current flash kit can be traded in with us.
