Nikon stands for solidity that lasts generations. Our range holds around 700 Nikon products: the mirrorless Z series, trusted DSLRs, and with over 360 pieces one of the largest Nikon lens collections in the Netherlands — from classic AF-D glass to the newest S-line.
Why a used Nikon?
Nikons are built to be written off and that rarely happens: a D850 that gave years of loyal service is usually just a D850 with years ahead of it. Because with Nikon the shutter count is reliably stored in every file, you also know exactly how intensively a body has been used. Add to that the fact that the F mount held out for over sixty years and you understand why there is so much usable Nikon gear in circulation. That way solid tools get a second life — better for your budget and the most sustainable way to get top gear.
Z or DSLR?
Z series — Nikon's mirrorless line with modern autofocus and stabilisation. The Z5 II and the retro Zf stand out, alongside stayers like the Z6 series.
DSLR — the D bodies remain robust workhorses, with the D850 as the eternal favourite and access to an ocean of affordable F glass.
Quiet gems — a Z7 II offers nearly D850 resolution in mirrorless for a remarkably soft price, and analogue classics like the FM2 and F3 turn up regularly too.
Lenses — the S-line glass dominates demand: the Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S, the Z 180-600mm for wildlife photographers and fast primes like the Z 85mm f/1.2 S. And through the FTZ adapter your F glass simply fits every Z body.
What we look for in used Nikon
With Nikon we can almost always read out the shutter count — we list it with the body. We also test the sensor, shutter, autofocus and the VR stabilisation in the lenses. On older AF-D and AF-S glass we look specifically at the known ageing points: smoothness of the aperture coupling, fungus and the focus motor. On the D bodies we also inspect the mirror mechanism and the phase-detect AF system through the viewfinder — points that do not exist on mirrorless, but make the difference on a workhorse like the D850. F glass we sell with an adapter has been checked on a Z body. The findings are stated plainly with the product, with a 12-month warranty.

Buying used Nikon: Z system or F mount?
Nikon from Tokyo has existed since 1917 and built with the F mount (1959) a system that lasted sixty years: from the F and F3 to the D850, D780 and D6. Since 2018 the mirrorless Z system is the future: the Z8 and Z9 for sports, nature and press, the Z6 III and Z7 II as all-rounders, the Zf with classic controls, and the Z50 II and Z fc as affordable APS-C entry points. The Z lenses, from the 24-70mm f/2.8 S to the 135mm f/1.8 S Plena and the 400mm f/4.5, are optically among the best there is.
The FTZ adapter makes the switch gentle: almost every AF-S and AF-P lens works with autofocus on a Z camera, and older AF-D lenses manually. That keeps a used 70-200mm f/2.8E or 24-70mm f/2.8E an excellent buy. On cameras we check the shutter count, the sensor and every function; on lenses autofocus, VR stabilisation, aperture and glass. Every item has photos and an honest condition description.
Pick your camera first by sensor format and use, then look at lenses by mount. Your old Nikon kit can be traded in with us and settled straight away against your purchase.
