Panasonic DMW-MA2M Leica M to Micro Four Thirds Adapter

The Panasonic Lumix Leica M Mount Adapter (DMW-MA2M) lets you attach Leica M-mount lenses to compatible Panasonic Lumix camera bodies, opening up a world of classic glass for your Lumix system.

What it does

This adapter bridges the Leica M lens mount and the Panasonic Lumix body mount, letting you use Leica M-mount lenses — including a huge range of vintage and current Leica glass — on your Lumix camera. With M-mount lenses, you'll be relying on manual focus and setting aperture on the lens ring itself, which many photographers find gives them a more deliberate, tactile shooting experience.

Who is it for?

If you already own Leica M lenses and shoot with a Panasonic Lumix body, this adapter is the straightforward solution to get those lenses working. It's also a great pick for anyone who wants to explore the character and rendering of Leica M glass — including many third-party M-mount lenses from Voigtländer or Zeiss — without committing to a Leica body. Buying a used adapter like this one is a low-risk way to experiment with cross-system shooting.

Buying used

Adapters are mechanically simple, which makes them one of the safest second-hand purchases you can make. Every used adapter on Camera-tweedehands.nl is individually inspected and comes with a minimum 12 months warranty, so you're covered if anything isn't right.
