Because the optics and the body form a single unit, you don't have to worry about separate lenses or adapters — you pick it up and you film. What to look out for when buying used
Above all, check the zoom lens and the motor: a smoothly running zoom without hitches or noise is important. Ask whether it is known how many hours the camera has run (the "operating hours" are shown in the menu on many pro models), and pay attention to the condition of the card slot(s), the fold-out monitor and the XLR connectors.
